Tanner's going out with a bang!

This Past weekend Tanner became a 2x state champion in track and field. He placed first in the long jump (he also got the school record in LJ) and the 300 intermediate hurdles. All of my siblings could make it to Cheney, Washington to watch their little brother compete at EWU. It was such a blast having everyone together again (we missed you Courtney, Lynley, Callie, and especially Greg). As great supporters towards the last Casper to compete at track state, we wanted to do something big, something that would make us stand out, something that would make others wish they were in the Casper Family.....so we made SHIRTS! On the back of the shirts we had all of our names, events, years, and places that we got in state. Not going to lie but my parents produced track stars.

LOVE those boys!

It was so exciting watching him run. He made sure to keep it a close race to keep us on our toes, but thank heavens he pulled through and won!

Tanner last night also had a solo in concert choir. He stole the show, and also probably some girls hearts. No one expected that sound to come from his throat. He surprised everyone, including me. After his performance I leaned over to my mom and told her my eyes started to water, she couldn't even look at me because she was embarrassed by the tears running down her cheeks. Yes we are babies, but you would be too knowing that in a couple more weeks you wont be seeing your little brother for two years. I am going to miss him a lot, but know he will be a wonderful missionary blessing the people of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am so proud of him and all of his accomplishments!

Marriage & School

Briar and I got married a year ago in the Columbia River, Washington Temple. Briar and I had known each other since we were little 7th graders. We would always pick on each other but secretly flirt. Lucky for us we always got to be by each other since his last name is Carlisle and mine was Casper. When we were Juniors in high school we officially became a couple. Our senior year I decided to break up with him and after graduation he came crawling back to me, haha jk, but we did get back together and eventually married. We are as happy as ever and I have loved waking up to him every morning. I feel like I am the luckiest girl in the world.

After going to one semester at Columbia Basin College, Briar decided to join me at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where he is still working on getting his bachelors in Business Financing and I am working on getting my bachelors in nursing. I just graduated in April 2013 with my associates in nursing. Here are some pictures of me at graduation.

These are pictures of my fellow nursing student, class of April 2013!

About 2 weeks ago I took the worst test of my life, the NCLEX, which is the national boards of nursing. I was freaking out and felt a lot of pressure to pass. The night of my test I got two hours of sleep then had to drive all the way to Yakima where my testing center was located. I Passed in 75 questions, which is the minimum amount, that scared me even more cause that could mean either I did really good or really bad. 2 days after waiting and freaking out a little bit more, I got my results and I.....PASSED!

Officially a registered nurse.

The beginning of many postings to come....hopefully!

I decided I needed to start blogging for the sake that I am awful at writing in my journal, and I would feel guilty not leaving my future posterity nothing to remember me by. My sisters are both bloggers and one of them have actually printed out their blog into a book, which I thought was awesome and inspired me to want to do the same. What a great way to keep and remember all of the great experiences and memories you have had, so I am doing it! I would like to apologize to everyone in advance for all of the errors. Hope you enjoy reading my blog.
